Years away in the city chasing opportunity, like so many from the hills — now building INUK so the next generation never has to choose between home and a future.
Why Uttarakhand, why now, and what three small words carry for all of us.
Uttarakhand is more than a postcard of snow peaks and temple bells. It’s villages that empty a little more each year, kitchens with recipes no one wrote down, festivals that deserve a bigger stage, and people whose stories rarely leave the valley they were born in.
INUK began with a simple frustration: the people who belong to these hills have never had a place that’s truly theirs — to gather, to be seen, to grow, and to bring the world to their doorstep on their own terms.
It starts with a private community of real, verified locals. It grows into a bridge between Uttarakhand and the world — to discover these hills, travel them, trade with them and build a living from them, the way locals always have. And it’s held together by a simple idea: when one of us rises, we bring the others with us.
Three words hold everything we’re building — our tagline, and our values.
For the people of Uttarakhand. Real faces, real places, real belonging.
Lifting our culture, our stories and our hills — together, and out loud.
A community that grows what it loves, and grows everyone with it.
